March 27: This cannot be true. Yesterday Carlos Serra was found dead in his home. He was 49. He suffered a heart attack on Saturday. We went to school together and years later we meet again in concerts all over Madrid. Zillions of them, zillions of music experiences shared, zillions of conversations, zillions of memories. It cannot be true. Ironically, Dylan, his greatest idol, is playing three days in a row in the Auditorio Nacional, a few blocks form Carlos' home. I went to bring him to the second concert when I found the devastating news. You shall be remembered like no one else.
