Momentum –as in the previous example- describes the consequences of digital technology for social action. E-mail, the Web and other media offer new opportunities for social change. At the same time, they transform the patterns of interaction among people, representing important challenges for volunteers, activists and the non-profit sector. This is an easy-to-read volume, full of examples of interesting activists’ initiatives applying new social media.
