I'm Professor of Botany of Botany interested in the use of molecular markers as a tool to answer questions concerning the evolution, ecology and conservation of plant species. Currently, most of my research is focused in the study of (i) the genetic consequences of habitat fragmentation, and (ii) natural hybridization as a key evolutionary force in plants.
